Induction of the 23rd President of the Perinatal Society of Sri Lanka
Dr. Sudath Senaratne was inducted as the 23rd President of the Perinatal Society of Sri Lanka at the induction ceremony held on the 11th of February 2024 at Waters Edge Hotel,Colombo. The chief guest for the event was Dr.Ramesh Pathirana, Hon.Minister of Health, the Guest of Honour was Dr. P.G Mahipala, Secretary of Health and the Special Guest was Dr.Asela Gunawardena,Director General of Health Services.Dr. Sudath Senaratne, in his presidential address, talked about “Holistic intervention strategies to mitigate prematurity-An evidence based community and clinical approach “, which is the theme for the year. The occasion was graced by the attendance of past presidents, development Partners, council and members of the Perinatal society and other dignitaries, and the family members of the inducting president.
